Independent research firm names MEGA a leader in EA Management Suites

Copenhagen - Denmark, April 19, 2011 – MEGA was named a leader by Forrester Research, Inc. in “The Forrester Wave™; Enterprise Architecture Management Suites, Q2 2011”, published April 15, 2011.

This report evaluated enterprise architecture management suites (EAMS) on current offering, strategy, and market presence.  

MEGA received the highest score possible in 25 of the evaluation criteria, including product strategy. This was the highest score for this category among all the vendors evaluated.

The MEGA Suite has been used by companies worldwide for nearly 20 years.

“MEGA's product strategy is impressive, with a very broad set of relevant and connected capabilities, and a targeted development roadmap aligned with the vision of the market,” noted the report.

The company’s product strategy is market-driven; MEGA works closely with customers to develop software that improves business, controls costs, and minimizes risks.

The report also noted, “In general, [MEGA] is providing significant support for IT, EA, and business stakeholders.”

The diversity of EA stakeholders today includes many outside the traditional EA team, especially IT strategists, business groups, and risk and compliance staff. MEGA provides dedicated dashboards that help these users obtain and assess information important to their role.

“MEGA offers a complete GRC solution recognized by the market supporting enterprise-wide compliance management,” said the report.

MEGA is the only company in this market that has linked EAMS with governance, risk, and compliance (GRC). The GRC capabilities of the MEGA Suite enable risk management, internal audit, and compliance activities.

MEGA was named in two recent Gartner, Inc. reports. It was cited in the “Assessment of Enterprise Architecture Tool Capabilities”, published March 31, 2011, and named a leader in the Gartner “Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Architecture Tools”, October 29, 2010.
